A woman who had been homeless for 10 years received the shock of her life when she was surprised with her own house.
The emotional moment was captured by TikTok user Isaiah, a fashion and jewellery designer, recording artist & entrepreneur who uses a portion of his brand sales to bring awareness and give back to families in need during the pandemic, including the homeless and human trafficking survivors.
In a video that has been viewed more than 70 million times on the platform, Isaiah can be seen pulling up to the woman in his car.
“How are you doing, Sweetie?”, he shouts.
Robin pops up from in her makeshift home and yells back in greeting with a big smile on her face.
Isaiah then gives her a gift bag which had the keys to her surprise new apartment inside.
Not able to believe it, she says: “No, no. You’re crazy. Oh my God.”
Isaiah then blindfolds Robin and takes her to her new home, which has been decorated beautifully.
Overwhelmed by what was happening, Robin claps in appreciation as she glances around the studio flat decked out with a comfy double bed, TV, and sofa.
“I love it!” she screamed.
Explaining the story behind the tear-jerking video, Isaiah wrote: “Robin has been homeless for 10 years.
“Today we got her an apartment thanks to my followers/GoFund/TikTok.”
